Checklist to Build My Own Website

This checklist is meant for people who already chose to build a website ie DIY using a website builder. You can also use this list to keep track of the work of your web designer to make sure nothing is missed out.

Why do I need a checklist?

• You refer to it to ensure you are on the right track

• You can keep track of your progress

• You can prioritize tasks

This checklist has categories and inside each category, there’s tasks and there’s also duration, start date, due date plus useful resources. For example: deciding on website name has to be done first by checking availability on the domain name provider before proceed to the other tasks, if you have come up with logo design and later on discover that the domain name you wanted is not available, not only it frustrates, it wastes your time too.

This checklist is in (.xlsx) format and you make any modifications on the checklist.
